Full Long Night's (Blue) Moon.

New Year's Eve. I resolve to make no resolutions, so that's taken care of.

Finished a blanket that is appropriate for the Blue Moon (Second Full Moon in a month, next one in 2028, I think...)

This was going to be a donation to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), but when one of the gal's daughter at the substation had a baby boy, everyone in my family informed me I was NOT going to donate it, I was to give it to her, for him.

Uh. Okay. I will be giving my more generic one to the NMCRS. So it works out... Anyway, Jo Ann's... Pound of Love??? acyrilic yarn, and my own design. ( I think you can enlarge the photo if you click on it.) I was pleased, one of the gals in my spinning class (who has won prizes in the fair), said I should make one for the county or state fair, she is sure I would win. Might even try that, but I usually forget to sign up until I hear, oh, the fair is next week... Oops.

So, Happy New Year to all, I hope you enjoy your Blue Moon (it's raining here, so I might get a glimpse, but won't count on it...), and hoping that 2010 is a better, happier year for all.

(And to anyone going to Blue Moon Fiber Arts tonight, I envy you a really, really, really lot!)
