First bee of spring!

Sometimes, you just get lucky. I have a slow camera.
Good Fortune sent me a slower bee.

Your title banner looks totally amazing. Perfection.

Yes, this is definitely going to stay a while. I just was so happy to get the picture of the bee. They are not easy ones for me to take, (several dozen photos of little blonde blurs prove my point... They just don't seem to pay attention when you ask them to sit for a moment.) So I found both the header photo (with bee in one of the flowers), and bee in close up, is just great. Definitely makes up for yesterday...

We couldn't believe it about two weeks ago when we saw two robins here in Minneapolis just after our huge snowfall!

Beth:

Oddly enough that is one bird we HAVEN'T seen around here of late. Lots of little birds of various sorts, but not a Robin. I will have to keep looking.

Every so often I run across phrases that make me want to start a new blog just so I can use the phrase as the title. Now I want to start a blog called "A Slower Bee." Wonderful photo!

Take it with my compliments! Enjoy. Or... At least it could be a blog entry.

Wow! What an amazing photo!!!
I am jealous of your flowers, your bee and your photo stalking prowess. Still winter here. Cold, dreary and snow, snow, snow. But without any actual accumulation. Just enough to be annoying because it's making the roads slippery and we have to clean the car off every time we go somewhere. I am so ready for spring. Waaahhh!!!

Believe me, we here would take every bit of your snow, up in the mountains... I wish it would snow like crazy up there, and all these places getting snow bombed would get some NICE weather for a change. But I promise, spring is coming... !

I decided that this must be my gift to all the snowed in folk... And chickens...
