Sometimes, I am just dumb.

Some pictures of my plants...

(Oops, forgot to title this.  Yes, thank you all,
it is a variegated hosta.  It likes the new spot MUCH better.)

Anyone have a clue what this is?
I can't find it in my garden manuals...

I was feeling great yesterday, full of vim, vigor, all that good stuff.  So I walked, and Husband mentioned that the doberman that wants to eat me hadn't shown up yet.  The people that truck him in to work, don't normally show until about 9.  It was about 7.  So I walked a great walk, enjoyed myself, and made it all the way to the next road and back, a good solid hour walk on the road.

Then I came back, watered, and decided it was high time to clean out the garden, making a few changes that I had been wanting to for some time.  I pulled weeds.  I dug out plants and re-potted or re-planted them, depending on where I wanted them.  I watered.  I hauled weeds to the chickens... Well, the llamas took over, but it ended up in the chicken yard, at any rate.

I was awesomely busy.

Today?

I felt very much like I was hit by a truck, again...  I was barely able to get out of bed, and I was moving like I had sand in the gears.  Lots of sand...  Didn't even exercise today (although, I might to some weight training stuff, low weight, a dozen reps or less), and I just decided that I am going to have to set a timer or quit after a certain time of day, even if I feel good.

It's so nice to have things finished.

It's just not nice PAYING for it...  (But, dang, the garden looks nice...)

That post gardening back pain stinks! The top one is a hosta variety, but not sure about the bottom one (which. Might be the only one you were wondering about)

It sounds like you took a few steps forward and then a big step back. For me, getting out in the garden is therapeutic. Even though I might hurt...I'm smiling....I think you are, too (dang, the garden looks nice.)
I think the first picture is a hosta. I have no clue about the second.

I'm afraid I'm no help to you identifying plants. I love plants and gardens, but I only pretend to have a green thumb and know plant names and such. I'm always in awe of people's thriving gardens!

Hope you get your energy back!

Take the day off today - you did more than enough yesterday. It's a very pretty flower in your pot but I wouldn't know what it is.

This is where a timer can come in handy. When i make myself take breaks, and stop after a certain number of "rounds", i don't overdo.
