Our chickens are back laying eggs again. The one on the left is from the Rhodies. Darker, slightly larger brown egg. The more pinkish one is from the Blondies. As well as the mutant thing on the right. It is an egg. It just has a tail, a flat spot, and looks more like a blob of intestine. It is very... unique. In short, what was that poor chicken doing to come up with that egg???
Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hmm, that is unusual. Maybe her style? I hope she gets better at it.
May the Irish luck be yours! Nice eggs...
Congratulations on the hens laying again; as for the odd one, i can only imagine the chicken yelling "ouch" over that!
Ergh... that last one is kinda, um, GROSS!!!!! It's like a little chicken fetus, or, worse...
I'm glad your father is home and doing well! That's excellent news! :) And yep, that egg on the right looks.. odd. I wonder too. Have a good week!
Perhaps the egg is the result of pre-St. Paddy's Day festivities???
Too much green grog does cause unusual results at times. ;)
And how painful was that to come out??
:)
Oh, that egg is a little sketchy! Glad the surgery went well!
Hmm look like one of those chicken got a wee bit too close to some radio active bugs lol
