3:30 A. M.

Short post.  I have a bit of insomnia, and decided to work on a computer problem I was having, unrelated to the blog.  Seems I have misplaced an email I need.

I really get frustrated sometimes at not understanding why computers do what they do.  I have a back up, but it is in a program I have to use on a different computer, as this one won't accept said program.  (sigh)  So, I will see what I can do at a later time.  On the bright side, I managed to get an email group set up that I needed to, in much less time than I expected.  Now I will see if it works, later...

Grandma is doing much better, her bruising is almost gone, (purple is NOT her color), and she has been getting good reviews from the therapists.  She wants to go back to her apartment in the worst way, which is motivation, I guess.  I hope she will be able to head back soon.

Managed to get the second kid's sock knit up, there was VERY little yarn left!

The hens are laying a few eggs here and there, about one every other day or so.  As the days get longer, we will get more eggs, I just have to be patient.

But, as anyone in my family can assure you, patience is not my long suite...

The days are finally getting longer, I check the time when the sun goes down every day that isn't gloomy.
Glad to hear that Grandma is healing and wants to go back home. I hope it doesn't take too much longer.
Have a good week!

Patience is my problem, also. I didn't know weather affected hens and their ability to lay eggs.

Yes, it seems like we are actually having a little more "evening", and less "night". As far as Grandma, yes, she's a stout thing, even if she is a bit dented up. I hope she can head home soon, as well, I know it bugs her to be in rehab.
And you have a good week, too!

Thank you, I think I would still prefer "day" blogs to "way too early blogs. But, hey, I know the phone won't interrupt, as a rule. And thank you for the prayers, and I am sure she would thank you, as well.

Somehow, patience is a rather precious commodity for a LOT of people, I think. And yes, light is the trigger. In fact, a lot of commercial farms, (and folks that just want eggs) keep lights on in the coops, so the hens will lay all year long. So, there's your trivia for the day. :)

Patience isn't my thing either and losing anything is horribly frustrating for me. I especially hate when I do a search for an email and even the program can't find it.

Glad to hear your Grandma is getting better and seems to be healing.

Been there, done that. Hate it... a whole LOT... Sigh...
Thank you, yep, she's on the grumpy side, so I think she is improving. (heh)
