Six sentence story...

I was reading about six sentence stories.  I had this stuck in my head, but it didn't work out well, run ons abound.  But hopefully it will elicit a chuckle, anyway.

He saw her across the room, her hair a gorgeous, wavy red.

A vision of loveliness, she wore a fuzzy mohair sweater.

He glanced over the large-print book he was leafing through, stealing peeks at her, and wishing he was several years younger.

And bolder.  And perhaps a bit more exciting than beige wallpaper in a beige room.

Then the nurse waved, and spoke up, "Sir, the optometrist will see you now..."

You seem to have the knack for entertaining 6 sentence stories. Very cute.

You've packed a lot of imagery into a very short story. Nicely done.
