Now that I have your attention:
I received the brass one some time ago, and we had it stored away. Mom and Dad recently gave us the rooster one for fun. Husband very carefully installed them, and so we now have very loud announcements of impending visitors, if we didn't already know from Rudee having hysterics...
Remember, formal entry, brass. Friends enter in the Rooster door!
: D

The brass one is very elegant, but the rooster wins my heart! So nice that you got your DH to put them up! I have been waiting for my DH to re-hang my pictures, since the bedroom was painted last October! You are one lucky Gal!
ReplyDeleteI am not a brass girl, but that rooster-LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteNice set of Knockers !
ReplyDeleteI guess it wouldn't surprise you, if I SAY knockers are not quite my forte!!!
ReplyDeleteMay you hear the Rooster knocker sounding often, with many great visits from friends creating happy time and happy memories.
ReplyDeleteTee-Hee. Your post reminded me of the great line from Young Frankenstein.
ReplyDelete"What knockers!"
"Oh zank you Doctor!"
Sharon:
ReplyDeleteYes, the brass one is because the front door has brass accents, but I must say the rooster is just charming... And yes, I am lucky!
