The flower in that first picture is about as red as red can be before dropping down towards scarlet. Such intensity.

Love your reds - especially the tulips! Glad the deer let you enjoy them - how'd that happen?
Because deer think gardens are a buffet made personally for them, but this year there are so many in the garden that they seem not to have been such gluttons...Cat

Very vivid. Guess there's no way to make things deer proof. They are probably either too smart or too dumb, depending on how you look at it.
