What a fun post! I planted a Hellebore a few years ago. They are supposed to bloom in February - so I guess yours is on target. Last year mine was under a snowdrift until April.... but it did bloom then!

I had this in my garden for about 2 years now, it didn't bloom, as far as I know, last year. It made up for it this year! And yes, the bee surprised me!

ReplyDeleteThe flower is supposed to bloom more or less this time of year, so not a big surprise. The bee, however, was. They usually don't start showing until mid-March(ish). And yeah, Rudee is quite the character...
