Farina... ?

So, I finally had a little bit of time to be home, and a friend had given me this cereal stuff called Farina. Never had it before, so I made some up this morning.

Um.

I hope I prepared it wrong, as it has the consistancy of wallpaper paste. It doesn't taste bad, (hate to say it, it doesn't HAVE a taste...), but it just looks, well, ick.

It reminds me a tiny bit of grits, but I think I will go back to oatmeal if I can't figure out why the wallpaper paste lumpy goo effect. Not exactly what you are hoping for first thing in the morning...
