X. Blurry, but...

These are very blurry, but it was the best I could do today...

Somehow I got them upside down of one another, but the idea is there.  That is the lower right leg.

The next is the pin and screws that were put in.  I have a Titanium rod with screws in there now, and Husband is as impressed as all get out that it is 1 1/2 times stronger than my bone was.  (Yay?  I have no plans of replacing all my bones with Ti, any time soon, thank you much...)

Yeah, x was pretty much a 'gimme', I think.

  1. i think the surgeon left his keys in there! ;o)

  2. Oh, poor you! The after x-ray looks so much better than that sharp break. Hope you heal fast.

  3. bon bon:

No, but it sure looks like one of my knitting needles is missing! ;D

  4. Terry:
Fortune would have it that it's surprisingly not painful, just feels incredibly odd to have things move where they aren't supposed to. The doc says I am doing 'well', tho, so mending must be occurring...

  5. That's quite a big piece of metal! Wow!
It is amazing what Doctors can do to patch us up!

  6. Even more complicated than the rods that were in Little Girl's shoulder/arm.

    Keep mending!

Hi! What have you to say today?
