L is for Letters.

Letters, written on paper.
Can read 'em now, can read 'em later.
A memory for the price of a stamp.
Some letters happy, some so sad,
All are slices of life,
peoples thoughts and loves,
cares and joys, sorrows and fears.

I hope that future generations have letters...

Letters seem to be going the way of all things, sad really.

Me, too. Keeping emails just isn't the same.

It would be very sad if letters ceased to exist. along with libraries and book stores.

I hope they do too. Letters are so rare these days with texting and email. I love to get a tangible piece of paper!

Letters are something that just have fallen by the wayside and yes it is sad. I loved writing letters when I was younger and from time to time I write them to update people of life's happenings but they always go by email these days. I can write a heartfelt letter better than I can express it in spoken word in many cases. So much for the fast paced life we all live in.
