Didn't realize it, but Husband had walked down and talked to the workers that were repairing the power lines. While he was there, he took this picture.
Three of the four lines were knocked down. Thankfully, the tree stopped before knocking down the fence pictured... Where there are several cows.
Whew!
We took a short drive around, lots of power folks out with tree folks, cleaning up, repairing, and resetting things, passed one truck carrying a new power pole! Things are getting better here, but still lots of problems north, and south of us. Good thoughts to those crews, too.
Oh, I believe I mentioned that I was going to read You Suck as my next book. Change of plans. Turns out that is a second book in a series. I will read it later, when I get all the books, so I don't get interested, then can't get one of the books, which has happened more than once in my reading career.
So, just because I decided something really different AND NOT VIOLENT, the next book (at this point #3), will be Knitting Without Tears by Elizabeth Zimmerman. It's one that's a book with commentary, ideas, and patterns. I had it tucked away, and decided that it was time to check it out...

Wow! Glad the fence didn't come down or get electrified! One of the lines is down at the farm and we still don't know which one it is. CPI's been notified, but they're so busy everywhere else and this is a low priority. They thought it was a ground line from the description.
I'm listening to "Unf*ck Your Body" by Faith Harper. An interesting dip into the brain/body connection. Interesting enough to consider buying, since I absorb better reading. Her other book "Unf*ck your Brian" I started reading for Rose, but I see a lot of me in there too.
Stay safe and warm you two!!
I'm thinking of you and hoping you all thaw out and everyone gets power soon.
If I ever start knitting again, I'll look up that book.
