Laundry fluff.

Not a busy day today, except for laundry. Wash, rinse, spin, dry, fold, put away, repeat.

I always notice how much fluff I get in the filter. Moreover, the amount of hair from the three of us, it nearly matts in there. I also noticed, the older the clothing, the more it sheds. Let's just say I don't toss clothes much.

I read that you can make fire starters with dryer fluff.

Anyone need to start a bonfire??

If you need fire starting material, stuff dryer lint into a toilet paper tube and seal the ends with candle wax. It works, sometimes very quickly, so be careful.

Meanwhile, my Sweetie's head professor from college lost two homes to dryer fires. Be careful and make sure you are pulling the dryer out, cleaning the vent (the whole length of it) and taking the back off the dryer to clean any lint from inside. It's good to do that twice a year.

I think that's the one Mom mentioned for fire starters, girl scouts? Maybe???

And absolutely yes, we have to be diligent about cleaning out our vent pipe, there is oodles of length, and so we make sure it gets "reamed" out, regularly!
