This is darker red than the picture shows, but it's close. At least closer than my skirt picture!
The end is a cast on that allows me to have a "live" edge to stitch on, to make an edging. At this point I have just shy of 13 inches knit. The pattern calls for 15. But- it might be knitted to 17, or even 20, depending on how far it goes down my back.
So, I have been working on it.
I gather from family, the local hospital would like me to knit for them. So, Thursday, barring any emergency/chaos/general nonsense, I will be finding out what they would like. And more importantly, what I can, and WANT to do.
Let's say, after having a request for 65 hats in two weeks from a previous charity, I want to know how much the person knows, and understands my speed... Or lack thereof. Wish me good luck!
I received my first veggie catalog of the year. So much fun, and daydreaming, occurs as I look through it. And these seeds (for the most part), are available locally, so the catalog is a planning guide, and I can hopefully skip the shipping cost...
Which means more seeds!
Yaaay!!!! ;)

Knitting only happens at the speed of the knitter, people do need to realize that. (I used to knit, a lifetime ago.)
