Yesterday I did laundry, took a shower after exercise, washed dishes...
Then later went to wash my hands. No water.
Well, long story short, we'd had a thunderstorm, it knocked the power out temporarily. But it didn't knock it completely out, and it smoked our pump motor. So, Husband had to pull the pump, see what was wrong, and this morning, he went to get a new pump.
We should have the setup ready for use by evening, but I have had a few oddball work arounds for water usage. Guess it's a good thing I like to dry camp. Right now we have a trickle that we can use coming from our emergency fire tank. So we aren't out, just waaay down.
Guess it's a good thing I finished the water oriented stuff before it crashed, yes?
