1, und uh 2....

 Linky bits.

(No, I'm not hungry, but harvest makes for food mentions...)

1. Fresh crookneck squash, steamed, with a bit of butter, right from the garden. Yummers!

2. Fresh corn. Lots of butter, and napkins. I don't eat corn politely. Face, table, floor, nothing is safe...  ;)

3. Chatting with my friend about chickens. He's a new chicken person, I have had them for a while. But the first egg of the season, from the new hens, is always cause for celebration!

4. Hobbies. A nice way to calm down, make something nice, and relax. And even occasionally finish something... Cough...

5. I am thankful that my neighbors have cows, and horses. Fun to look at, wonderful to have around... And I don't have to take care of them.  (Had 'em, that was enough.)

6. Sitting in the garden, and able to be quiet enough that the wild turkies walk by the gate without spooking.

7. Lemonade. Just refreshing on a hot day...

8. My hats. They keep me from getting sunburn, mostly. They can keep my head warm at other times... And when I run out of hands, in a pinch, I can carry veggies to the house in it! (Reminder to self, take hod to garden!!!)

9. Friends who come to visit. A friend of ours showed up, we must have visited an hour or more. Nothing of earth shattering import, just family and goings on.

10. Helping. I don't get the chance to help Husband much. But I was able to get him in touch at the right place, with the right person. It was so nice to be useful!   :)

Ten again, and have a great week!

Good Grat list!
Liked #6 though, for whatever reason we haven't had turkeys the last couple of years (usually in Autumn). Funny how some species are always present, some intermittent, rabbits and deers the former and aforementioned turkey (and skunks) the latter
Have a good week

We are in a very rural area, so any and all critters might be around. Right now deer, turkey, and crows seem to be the biggies... Fun to see!
