1. Finished one knit project. Have just a tiny fix on another, (managed to have one stitch not get properly knitted, no ladders, thank you), and the plan B for the last present is going well. (Pictures... Eventually...)
2. I believe we have all the "fixin's" bought for Thanksgiving. Husband wants to try a different thing, rather than a whole bird, we are trying a turkey breast. Meh.
See how it goes.
3. Picked up some gift tags, they are incredibly decorative, so I use them as ornaments. (Plus, they don't have all of that nasty glitter crap my other ornaments do. I swear I vacuum, and clean, and mid July, STILL finding glitter. Sheesh!)
4. Saw some Christmas cards I like, and don't need a whole lot of them, so, yay!
5. Have heard from a elderly friend, was beginning to get concerned. She had been ill, but has recovered, and wrote back to me.
6. A friend ended up with puppies that they couldn't keep, and she was working on rehoming them. She found a home for one, and it's looking promising for the other.
7. I was looking at my ebook list, and so far I have read 18 books there. 12 or 13 of the "tree" books, so I can happily say I kept my new year's resolution.
8. I am enjoying my new knitting group. Various knitting projects, lots of conversations, and I even found a parking spot close to the store last week!
9. Almost finished with a Christmas gnome I made. Just for me. :)
10. After an appointment with my new doctor, and I had some concerns. She listened, gave me some ideas on how to deal with them, and the one I chose seems to be working pretty well!
Good week to all of you!!

A client I had years ago unashamedly used glittery decor all over her house every Christmas and didn't care she and I were still finding glitter six months later. It brought her joy and it was her house, not mine, so it didn't bother me, either.
I'm glad your friend got in touch. I try to be in touch with one of my elderly clients every single day, as her family will go weeks, and sometimes friends don't call often.
Enjoy your Christmas gnome!
always good when they (doctors) have advice that is useful and helpful... have a good T-Giving
Knitting is something that I oddly managed to avoid, oddly because every single female in my family and in the family into which I am married, are knitters on a grand scale. A very happy Thanksgiving to you!
I am okay with a LITTLE glitter, but some of the ornaments I made the mistake of getting are just covered in the stuff. I just find it messy... And yes, I worry about her a little, she's elderly, lives by herself, and family doesn't visit real often...

Yes, and when they listen. Being talked at is no fun. And I hope your Day was good!
