Ever have one of those days?

 I didn't realize I'd not put a blog up. But it fits. 

Woke up. And other than dishes and laundry, I haven't done much. In fact, I could very nicely read a book, or take a nap. 

I will try and get Christmas cards going today, if nothing else.

In other news, Husband figured out a problem I was having with my printer. I had set up a new to me, very ancient computer. It had one of the very early versions of Word. I had tested it, worked great. 

So I typed up a letter, and tried to print it.

Pbbbt. Nothing. 

Tried what little I could figure out, no luck. I finally told Husband.  He looked at it, then started working through all the different computer info. No luck.

After about an hour, he leaned back, staring at the thing, then said, "hmm". 

He then plugged the cord into the front USB port. I had it in the back one. 

And off the printer went like a racehorse! 

So, I have my "electric typewriter" back, thanks to my BIL for the computer, (and it's red, my favorite color), and Husband for the keep-wife-from-swearing IT. 

Hooray!!!
