1. No clue how I injured my knee, but it's healing, and I was able to help Mom with some shopping she needed to do.
2. Thankful I could be amusing for a couple clerks in the store. Mom and I normally go in, and I set her up in the electric cart, and I get the regular one. We reversed it, because I was just starting to be able to walk somewhat normally. They were surprised, and it led to animated discussion!
3. Thankful so much to a young clerk that gave my Mom a bottle of water when she had a reaction to someone's perfume and had a coughing fit.
4. A friend of my husband came over, and I had just made some bread. Offered him some, since it was near lunch time. Later my husband said he overheard said friend talking to someone else about the good bread I made. :D
5. Little thankful, I found 2 decorated bags I misplaced. Yay!
6. I am thankful for Ding, who has taken to lying on my knee. Very nice warm.
7. I don't like fog. We've had fog for several days, due to an inversion.
HOWEVER...
Very thankful I am not dealing with 5-7 foot snowfall. I am hoping that people there are safe!
8. I was able to knit a pair of socks that almost perfectly matched. I hope to remember to give them to my Mom, not Christmas presents, but a project I had started with different yarn, and found out they were darn near dangerous. (Read: HIGHLY slick, and Mom and Dad have wood and linoleum floors...)
8. Also thankful I have enough yarn left to make another pair for myself, and maybe a pair of hand warmers. Nice warm yarn, and washable...
9. I found ginger snaps at the store. You can have your pumpkin spice, or peppermint. Ginger snaps are my "the season has arrived" flavor. Yum!!!!
10. Due to some changes I have been making, and some help from my new OBGYN, I am feeling much better, have lost a little weight. I hope she stays for a while, I like her!
What a lovely list! I pray the healing continues.
