1. We had an ice storm the last two days. Amazingly, we didn't lose power, or many branches, that I could see.
2. Recycled a small freezer that died into a feed box for the chickens. It does a great job of keeping the feed dry, and chicken free.
3. We were able to stay warm and comfortable with the fireplace going. I even dozed in the living room a couple times, because it was so comfortable.
4. I have lost all my chess games to my husband so far, but I am learning. Nearly got him in check once, so there's hope yet...
5. The yarn I couldn't make a hat out of, is going to make mittens for a community center asking for winter knits. See what I get finished for them.
6. I am getting my reading "mojo" back. One ebook, one book in the living room, and and one by my bed.
7. And, in the matter of books, I have changed a rule I had. I used to read at least 6 chapters before I decided if the book was worth finishing. This has led, lately, to some disappointing reads. Mostly because I already had read enough to be curious, so I might as well finish. I now am going to read no more than 2 chapters, and if it doesn't wow me. Zing! Away it goes!!
As many books as I have (not even counting the ebooks), I will not be running short any time soon, even tossing pbbbt books out. And, that means they will be in circulation again, hopefully making someone else's enjoyment list!
8. I am on Discord. My knitting group, and so now I am able to see all sorts of craft and pets, and just chit chat, that 2 hours on Saturday when I can make it, just doesn't cover.
9. My husband has been going with me, driving me to PT, then taking care of any business he needs to do, and any quick stops I might need. Saves us trips, and I was rather pooped my last session, so not needing to drive was a bonus!
10. One of our neighbors is doing well through the ice, she is a wonderful gal, go getter, but really, REALLY prefers warm and sunny weather! But texting, and wood from us and some other folks, is keeping her warm and feisty! ;)
Good week to all!

This is an uplifting list. I hope you win a game soon and really like your idea for recycling an old freezer.
funny about the books. we have a couple of wooden bookcase full of paper books and a kindle... wish I could just transfer the bookshelfs into my kindle, it is so much easier (physically) to read (especially in bed)
