Tired, but thankful.

 Linky bits

1. Overdid it waaaay too much, so I am thankful that I am getting some rest, so I will feel better. That and some Naproxen...

2. Been knitting my Moodring wrap for several days, and seeing that "happy" is general mood. Unfortunately, the next highest is "irritated". But, life has ups and downs, yes?

(Please note, the colors are much darker, the green is hunter green, and the red is a maroon, the blue is navy...)

3. Ding is a good 'provider', now that we've found her toys. I have found these on, and beside the bed, in the morning several times...

Especially walking to the restroom in the early morning.

3a. (Also incredibly thankful it's a TOY mouse, in that case!!!)

4. Even though the weather is warm, and going to hot, for our area, the garden is doing well. I have only lost one tomato plant, but I think I can survive with only 16... !

The one I lost was eaten down when the deer were coming in.

4a. Husband made the fence repairs, and this far, no more deer in the garden.

5. Husband and I are playing an extremely slow game of chess, but I haven't lost (yet), and I actually have a plan, rather than a straight attack, or hiding my king behind all the other pieces... See what happens.

6. A neighbor and I have been texting good morning to each other. It's nice, we both know each other are okay, and if either one of us needs something, the other can sometimes help.

7. We visited a friend who has had some medical issues, and I am pleased to say he's improved quite a bit. He will not get back to 'normal', but it is a vast improvement from where he was.

8. Got my gumption up, and joined a garden group. So far looks like a pretty nice bunch. And my teacher for the garden classes I was taking is a member, too. So hopefully I can learn more!

9. Husband wanted to buy an item not available around here, he found it in a store in Salem. We went together, and after he bought  it, we had lunch, visited our friend, and had a nice drive, with him showing me several areas I'd not been before. I really enjoy those. You get some of the nicest views off the "beaten path".

10. Have been getting up early to do chores, and it's been good, we have been able to get finished before it gets hot, and have the doors open to cool the house for most of the day.

Wishing all of you more thankfuls than you can count, enjoy!
