Hi, ten, I remember you!

 1. My night cap works well, and I enjoy the colors!

2. We had rain, and we are supposed to get more rain. We need it!

3. The therapists, it turns out, are watching me as much as Mom. They have suggested different ways to move Mom, or lift, etc., without wrecking my back!

4. I was digging through my yarn stash, and found several nice ones that I can use for chemo caps.

5. I am finally getting caught up with some things I have been putting off in the last bit. Have one letter finished and sent, and one nearly ready to go. Several left to do, but it's a start!

6. I am not sure what has happened, but I'm getting better the last few days about not falling asleep after dinner.  Definitely an advantage to do things of an evening!

7. A friend of mine moved, and my husband, bless him, helped her, knowing I wouldn't be able to. I don't take that lightly, he doesn't like doing moving, and it wasn't close by!!

8. I managed to get a commonplace book started. I have heard quotes and thought, oh, I should write that down. Now I have a place. Important things, silly things, even a couple Fortune Cookie fortunes...

9. Needed a mindless project for when I am at my parents. Writing doesn't work. I was kind of bored with socks, so I am knitting hats for chemo and some other groups. I have a basket, and I try to fill it then donate. Um. There isn't many in there right now. So, I can rectify that, in between chores.

10. I am going to be able to go to a movie I want to see with Dad this weekend. :)

Enjoy your week, and happy thankfuls!

What a gorgeous knitted cap! It is generous of you to knit and donate away the fruits of your labor.

May you enjoy your movie and have a good week ahead too.

That’s a beautifully colorful cap!

Isn’t it nice when the therapists give pointers to the ones doing the care? Good for them, and for you, listening.

Your Husband deserves something extra special for helping with the move. Not knowing him, I can’t say what, but you probably can.

I’m still praying for your family and you and am glad you are not quite so tired you fall asleep as soon as you sit down now.

I second Mimi, its quite nice of the therapists to offer advice for your own physical efforts... it is all too easy to move to fast when lifting weight and throw something out.
funny about the fall asleep thing, I am prone to do that and, in my case, it seems to be a function of 'rhythm of my energy in the evening. the wrong tv show or book while at the couch puts me totally out for the evening. thought I've found that if I can interrupt that energy, I get a 'second wind'
huh
have a great week

Yes indeed - a lovely night-cap - how long does it take you to knit one? I am so bad at finishing knitting projects and there's you filling baskets with caps... Respect!

Checking in and praying all is well.

It depends. If I am concentrating, I can probably get a hat out in a day or two, if it's a basic pattern. Right now, in between the other "stuff" I am doing, it's a bit closer to a week. And the basket takes a bit to get full, even then!

Hi, Cai, my phone is being a poop. Anyway, I give away most of it because I knit much more than I would wear, or use!

Yes, I appreciate keeping my person in one piece! And yes, relaxing, or boring, can sap the second wind for me very quickly!
