ANYWAY, you ask, why do I think I am a truck? My diet and exercise routine. (I think of the strangest things at 1 in the morning...)
- I have four on the floor when I exercise. (2 feet, 2 poles).
- I get better "mileage" when I put in good "fuel".
- I have a few dings and dents, but still "run" well.
- I am carrying too much in the back...
- My dog loves to go with me.
- I can go over rough ground, but I tend to bounce a lot...
- I can get 'there', from 'here', but it takes time and maintenance, and keeping on the move.
- I hope to upgrade to a better looking, more fuel efficient model.
I could also add that one of my relatives is Henry Ford (not that one, however...).
So, fellow trucks...
HONK! HONK!
Let's go!!
(And I lost just shy of a pound this week. Slow lane, but still moving!)

I am a UPS van, at least I look like one now...
Good going girl! I have gained more cargo ;-(
Hah, sometimes I think I'm an 18-wheeler.
Woo hoo good for you....I am sometimes a garbage truck, because all I eat is junk. lol. Try to get better so and exercise and well I definitely need now tires or springs ( feet and knees).
Keep on trucking.
Honking back, with a friendly wave added for good measure.
I like your analogy. I once read something, before the internet age so I don't know if I could ever find it again, about how our bodies are like cars. It compared the emissions system to lungs, the oil to blood, etc. It was really rather well done.
I concur that yes, it will be nice to upgrade someday.
new follower here....thx for the giggles!!! honk honk!
Sharon:
Ok, UPS van. My first thought... Nooo, you aren't pregnant. Sorry, my mind takes a left turn at reality on occasion...
But, all isn't lost, my gal, we'll get there (yes, I said "we".)

Sometimes I feel like one, too. Sometimes I just feel like I've been run into by one.
:D

Tina:
Well, in my case, that's what the poles are for. But yes, we start moving, the body will do something back. Hopefully GOOD.
Cat, who has hauled more than a little garbage in her day...
messymimi:
Yes, now that you say that, I think I remember something like that, too! Might have to do some searching, see if I can find it... And yes, having a tookus that isn't a "dually" is my goal...
:)

You are too funny. You sound like me. I wake in the middle of the night and there's no going back to sleep. That mind gets to work and just won't stop! Not sure what I am. I'll have to put some thought into that one. Started with sit ups and push ups two days ago. We'll see.

I loved this post even though I lost a whole lot of weight I didn't want to or needed to lose after my accident. Now I'm trying to gain it back, like portion control in reverse. Maybe I should aim for becoming a FedEx truck? Sort of zipping around, light on my feet?
Ha! Oh I too have some dings and dents! Very funny post!
Randy:
Oh, yeah, one of the people I read calls it the Midnight Editor, I have a somewhat less pleasant name for it on occasion, but yes, when it makes a funny blog, it's not so bad. (Except possibly for the yawning.)
Sit ups and push ups! Good for you! I can do the sit ups. Push ups, not so much. You have to have knees for that. Or at least knees that work...

Canyon Girl:
Uh, you're a stripped down racer, that needs a few options put on? ;)
Fed Ex? Most assuredly, I agree. They come by our house, then I hear screeching tires as they zooom right by the neighbor's driveway! (regularly receives parcels...)

Hand over the buffer, and nobody gets hurt!
