You have been warned. Heh.
Lorenzo. He of the "If I stand here and look cute, she will feed me..." |
Llama, the "dignified" one. Unless she is busy putting a spitdown on Lorenzo. |
The HIGHLY begraggled, but loveable (for a chicken) Buttercup. She likes to fly/jump on my arm and eat out of my hand. This works much better when I am expecting it... |
The group getting a little sun and fun. |
Tuxedo, channelling King Henry the 8th. Or a mob boss, I am not sure. |
Buzz, the Hyperactive Wonder Kitten. Stealling from Tux's bowl. Just because I give them the same food, from the same bag, the other guys HAS to be better... Right? |
Um. Kittens are curious. Camera lenses that move attract attention when at eye level. |
Well, here is Rudee in his "I am imitating a Rescue St. Bernard" Shot. I think he was on patrol for deer. Or squirrel. Or for his squeaky toy, for that matter. |

Happy friends! I like that tubby kitty! Tee hee.
Oh they are all so adorable..but you need a donkey...no actually two lol...Love the Dignified Llama...very dignified lol.
What a great looking bunch of buddies you have there!
IsobelleGoLightly:
I like to think they are happy! And yes, not all of that is fur! :D

I have actually considered a donkey, but haven't figure out how to spin donkey hair yet. (large grin...)
You know, I am into puns, so I would have to name it Hoe-tee.

I didn't know you had llamas! And a German shepher dog!! I love all the photos and the critters at your farm. Thanks for sharing them with your blogger friends.--Inger
Yep, and Rudee is a cross. We joke that he is part shepard, part kangaroo. But he's part shepard, part lab.
Guess I am going to have to show more pics of the crew, I didn't realize I'd not been 'talking them up' enough!

You do have a bunch of critters! Have you spun any of their wool/fur/hair and made something? I know I get cat and dog hair/fur into anything I make - including cocoa :)
Buttercup looks like a friendly hen, she just has the "look"!
Love the crew! They must keep you hopping.
Sharon:
I am going to soon, I have to wash and clean guard hairs out first. And as far as getting my fiber, Tuxedo is good about making sure the tea is well strained. Sigh...
And yes, Buttercup is one of the few that even Husband can pick up, she is just so laid back...

Great pictures! Your llamas are wonderful and so healthy looking. It looks like you have a nice well tended farm area as well.
I love the "when I'm expecting it" comment, that is too true.
Do you use the llamas hair for spinning?
a great looking crew!!!!
Chai Chai:
Thank you, I try my best to take care of 'em.
Yes, if Buttercup takes a wild hair to fly, and I don't see her coming, sometimes she misses me completely, and does a cartoonish splat against the wall, or manages to get on my arm and then fall off, poor thing.
And yes, I have to get it cleaned and the guard hairs out, but I will be 'processing' it for spinning, this winter, hopefully.
