The garden... and an inspection.

Ah, so what do we have out here? Hmm, a box...

Ah, a BIG box. Solar collection? Litter? Hunting?
The possibilities are endless!

Oh, Hi! What?  Don't poop here?  Well, of course not,
I will wait until I have some privacy.
Besides, it's nice and warm, I will just relax for now.

Oooh, wazzat?  There's a tractor coming in!
Time to go!

And my crop of little orange flags are growing well!

For any that call Irises flags, this is probably a joke photo, but I didn't mean it that way... I have some cold weather crops, peas, spinach, carrots, and then the lone flag is salad greens.  LOTS of salad greens.

I like salad.

But Husband has all the raised beds in, we put the wood chips down (freebie from the crews doing tree maintenance on our road, Yay!) and the deer fence up, so I am pretty well good to go!

  1. It's a good thing that Buzz has given approval. You put fence over it to keep the cats and the deer out?
Do you have a garden that is not in a raised bed? I have been watching for a phone booth - suggest using old storm windows ... actual phone booths are getting as scarce as hen's teeth.

  2. I not only love salad...I love salad with fresh greens right out of a garden. You are one lucky girl to have the space to grow your own veggies.

Cute pictures of the sweet cat. I think he/she would have every right to think it's a big litter box. Sorta looks like one at this point. He/she is probably thinking what wonderful people live there that would build such a beautiful litter box.

    1. Yep, thinning is going to be nice!!

Buzz is a she, and amazingly, she HASN'T used it as a litter box. Yet. It does however, resemble one to comic effect, as shown... I think she was just happy it was warm.

  3. Kitty does look at home in the flower box. I hope you're having a fun week.
