We hadn't gone anywhere for a while, and headed to the coast, there was a storm brewing, and we love to see the waves.
There has been a bit of rain, normally, the water is clear, or pop bottle green. This looks a bit more on the order of coffee with milk! There were a lot of log trucks on the road when we were heading out. Think we figured out where they were coming from. The picture doesn't show it very well, but that hill is extremely steep!
We rounded a corner, and I saw this bunch. Husband was intent on driving, and since they were well off to the side, (THANKFULLY), he didn't see them. We turned around, and I was able to get several pictures. They didn't seem real excited about us. Don't think paparazzi in cars are a big deal to them.
Disapproving elk looking at us disapprovingly... And quite possibly mooning us!
Got brave and had lunch at a place we go to occasionally. Husband had ordered me tea. Guess the tag is pretty accurate!!! ;) Guess who forgot to say no onions... Oops.
When we arrived, it was raining pretty steady...
You can tell the storm is headed in, the waves look muddy with all the churned sand.
The gulls were needing to stay on the ground, because of the wind. But don't think they weren't watching for handouts!!
And Nature mooning us again...
Actually, the wind was coming in fairly strong at that point, and I think the poor thing was just trying to wait it out.
Nice day, all the way around.

It looks like a very nice outing. You had a good red flag surf there.
LOL Nature mooning you all day! What kind of tea was that? Kindof a nice little mental hug there. But seriously I can totally understand wanting to keep your head to the wind - that way the wind eases around you instead of fluffing up your feathers and getting a big draft!
Hugs!!
It is always nice to be by the water.
I love Oregon.
Ha! Yes, haven't heard that term since I was in the island area of Washington state, but absolutely!

Nature has been known to moon me rather regularly, I have a cat... :)
Lipton black tea.
And yes, facing the wind with your head down also keeps your hat on, generally!

I think that's why we try and visit so often.

So do I. :)
