Morning Quiet.

Sitting in my living room. I don't have any radios or the TV on. Nothing making that kind of noise. (Unless you count the refrigerator running.)

But it's not silent. The Towhees are digging for the "good stuff" in the feeders, tossing the other seed out. Makes the window rattle like tiny hail.

On the ground, I hear a few ground feeders chittering and squeaking, battling for seed domination!

The heater started... Our nice days are in the rear view mirror for the moment. No freezing predicted, but 40's or less wouldn't surprise me. Rain...

Clinking from Ding inspecting her food bowl. She ate some, so I guess she approves.

This time...

Cawing. Rooster crowing. One random moo.  All the animals are up and around for another day.

Even the tiny finches are making themselves known, landing with a metallic thump on the metal cross beam holding the feeders, like some kind of micro superhero. (And I saw the little one legged finch yesterday, too!)

Morning traffic is light, so just the occasional buzz of an engine.

The ticking of the clocks.

Listening to the quiet can sure be noisy!!!

It's amazing how many noises there are when you stop and listen.
