Spaced off for a few days. Running around, gathering tomatoes, (they taste better than rosebuds, lol), and just being busy. So, decided to get my blog written on, again...
One of the things I did was go to our local Mennonite Fall Festival. Sadly, it's getting smaller and smaller, but I still enjoyed going. I took my Mom and Dad. They have a bluegrass group, Dad will sit and listen, Mom and I go to the different booths. As usual, I hit the yarn, and the books, and picked up a half gallon of apple cider. Let's just say, I loaded and unloaded walkers, carried out stuff in a cart, and waitressed lunch to the table. And bought a lot of yarn and several books.
I were pooped!
But like I said, it was fun. The one thing I wish I could figure out though...
We went to the quilt and donation auction. The quilts were nearly finished, (wish I had an unlimited bank account to get a few of them, absolutely works of art, and worth every penny!), but they were announcing one of the donations. I wasn't paying attention, but I swear I heard:
We are auctioning off an Amish Large Screen TV.
Ummm.
Nooo. That... No. Unless it's a large window, maybe. But that's not a thing! Never did figure out what they were auctioning. Oh, well.
The garden is just about finished, so I am going to be putting papers and mulch on it to get it ready for winter. I am getting leaves falling, so I want to get started getting the beds ready!
Christmas stuff is up at the stores, grumble. However, as a crafter, I am working on a time frame of way early myself. I just finished the first gift for someone. I have at least 3 more items to knit or crochet, I have 2 started, one I just got going yesterday. I am trying SO HARD not to get into any other projects until those are done, I have made the mistake of cutting it close to Christmas, not fun, or enjoyable!
After Christmas, I have a project that I have wanted to do for some time, and finally have the material, and hopefully skill to do it. It's a crochet beaded garland, red beads and white crochet around it. Why after Christmas?
Because I won't have pressure to finish quickly, and maybe I will have time to make it up to Santa for swearing vehemently if I screw up. Hey, it happens. ; )
Anyway, I am doing pretty well, just scattered on blogging. I will try and get all of the comments up and replied to soon as well.
(THANK YOU FOR COMMENTS!!!!)
Back to knitting for now!

It's good to hear things are going well. The festival does sound like a good time.
Good luck on the knitting and getting those beds ready for winter!
Yes, so far, so good. The festival is really nice, plus several people we know show up, so we can visit, too. Knitting is doing well, and I am getting things done outside, so yaaaay!!
