This is late because I went on a long day trip...
1. My knee was feeling well enough, so could join my husband on a road trip. He'd been talking to his brother, and they wanted to do some trading.
2. We left at 5:45, and I am pleased to say I was ready! Even though I had to check the front door... I always want to double check if it's locked... Even if I locked it!
3. Very few cars headed to. We had a very few heading back that time of morning either, which made glare much better.
4. Views!!!
5. We were able to have a nice meal, (we brought sandwiches, and cookies), and watch traffic, people, and even a snow plow.
6. BIL and wife arrived safely, and we chatted a bit. The weather was pretty windy, but not snowing. Thankful I had planned ahead to dress warmly... The only part of me that was cold was my right ear, because my hair kept blowing off of it, my hat wasn't quite long enough to cover... Oops.
7. Husband had replaced a drive line in the truck a while ago, it was a monster before. The trip over and back was (relatively) quiet (let's face it, it IS a truck), and didn't so much as hiccup there or back.
8. Home, we were met with a very happy kitty, pleased to see us, and rather talkative!
9. Husband was able to give his brother some coax for his radio, and he gave us a heater. Many other little things, His wife needed some storage, and we had cupboards we didn't need. I have a few new fabric bags for storage. The two of them probably had some other things, but those were some I saw trade vehicles.
10. My SIL is into quilting. Sometimes I don't know what to talk about. No problem this time! She whipped out her phone and showed me several lovely quilts she'd been working on.
All in all, a terrific day, a fun trip, and safe for us all.
Happy week, oh, and Happy New Year!
