Little Happy 10.

 1. I have been feeling exceptionally good, of late. Don't know if it's the exercise, the weather, or what, but it's nice to be able to get out and do things! And not hurt doing them...

2.

The Emotional Support Chicken is finished, and off to her new home. My friend likes purple. One of these days, I will make one for myself, but I enjoy the reaction of the receivers.

3. I wrote to the yarn shop about said chicken, and the fact my Mom used it not only as emotional support, but physical, when she broke her wrist. (She was supposed to elevate the wrist and support it. The chicken turns out to be the exact height she needed.) They wrote back, and helped me with the fact my copy of the pattern was fritzed when my computer crashed. Now I can make a new copy, and store one, just in case!

4. The mysterious squeak in the washer was found. The agitator was loose, and had fabric gunk on it. Husband worked said gunk out, and tightened it. It still squeaks a bit, but improved MUCH.

5. I am making dried tomatoes for a friend that can't garden, and lives many states from me. I put the dried tomatoes in a vacuum sealer bag. Well, my sealer broke. Thought we'd fix it. Pbbbt. Turns out, 17 year old sealers don't have repair parts available. However... Mom had one gathering dust in her pantry, and gave it to me. So, I will test it, then get back to drying stuff.

6. My garden has decided it's time to explode into food. Now, I just need to keep up! :)
I will be making soups, freezing tomatoes, drying stuff, and at the rate I'm going, grating veggies into the breakfast cereal!!! LOL

7. There was a craft swap, I brought several items. I showed up at the event, and the sponsor said there were so many people donating, there wasn't a bag limit. I ended up getting 3 bags full. One was just a beautiful red yarn. Probably 15-20 skeins of it. I hope to make a blanket from it. Several books, some tools, shells, and a sketch pad. Probably more, but you get the idea. When my fingers were going numb from carrying the bags, I figured I should stop.

8. I was at a thrift store and found an art set. Unfortunately, the stupid sales tag put a gouge in the case cover. I thought a bit, and dug out some heavy decorative ribbon I have, and it is just large enough to cover the damage. I will put it the length of the top, to look intentional, and tada, up cycling!

9. I received a response from my physical therapist, he was indeed pleased to hear how I was doing, and encouraged me to continue! (Absolutely!!!)

10. I am in my "busy" part of the year, but it's things I enjoy, so I am not too upset about it. Besides, winter makes going places a nuisance, so enjoy the easy travels while I can!

Good week, all of you, and happy thankfuls!!!
