Thankfuls o' the day.

 1. Had a fairly busy week, and another coming up. I am glad to say that I have been getting through most of it with no major hiccups. Got wet a few times, since the rain has started, but I don't think I will rust too much!

2. Husband has been mulching leaves up against our oak tree, so I will have a ready supply when I get out to mulch the garden for winter. So far I am guessing there's probably a pile of leaves 2 feet or so tall, and more to drop.

3. I will be getting a chance to do a project with my garden group. I hope to see them in a more active setting, rather than when I am sitting, taking notes at the meeting.

4. Was able to get some mail out finally. We have to take our mail to the post office, for various reasons. It was an advantage this time, I have a potential new pen friend in Estonia, and had not much of a clue what the postage would be. Or if US stamps work on international mail. ($1.70, and yes, 3 US stamps cover it.)

5. All of my terrariums are doing well except one. And I suspect that was because of my accidentally smacking the plants while putting them in the vase. (Large vase, small mouth.) The others, however, seem to be doing great, and are even putting on a few new leaves.

6. I am almost finished with a Christmas table runner. Glad, too, I have one or two more projects I'd like to work on, and perhaps finish, decoration wise.

7. Husband picked up a gallon of fat free milk for me. I no problem with the taste, and the label amuses me with "0% milk" written on it in big letters. Makes it sound like I am drinking orange juice or something, not milk!    ;)

8. I've carved out some time to work on my craft room. I have rid myself of several bags of paper and stuff that I decided I would not use, so recycled it. Then put some items I use a lot, where I can get at them easily. This is probably a thankful for my Husband as well, because I don't need to keep asking him to get it off the shelf!

9. I also gave up on a project I was going to do. I had saved several t-shirts for a quilt. Decided I wasn't going to make said quilt. At the same time, some clothes I wear for dirty work like gardening and cleaning, were in near tatters. Well, now I have new cleaning rags, "new" shirts to wear cleaning, and one less project sitting around undone.

10. Cooler weather has meant more cuddle time with my normally not very cuddly inclined cat. Heat seeker, and she decided my lap is nice and warm.

Have a wonderful week, packed with thankfuls!
