Slow and sleepy thankfuls

 1. I have been on some medication that didn't allow me to take anything like Aleve or ibuprofen. And I had to be highly conservative about Tylenol. This lead to some bad nights sleeping.

BUT!! The meds worked, I am finished with them, and can take pain relievers before bed again.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...........

2. We had a power outage, but due to Husband's ingenuity, and a hot plate, the half cooked dinner was finished, and quite good! About the only drawback was the house getting cold, but the power came back on before we had to make a fire. Which is also good, in my book.

3. I have been reading more, but keeping it to one or two books at a time. Read some heavy, long, intense books, so I am reading a total fluff cozy mystery right now. (Fluff for real, one of the characters is a cat!)

4. Husband just had a checkup on some things about his family history. Doctor said he is doing well for his age and such. Yaaaay!!!

5. One of my friends was able to get a new job. And it was one she very much wanted!

6. I haven't been writing letters like I normally do, but I have been catching up with a few friends by text.

7. Ding kitty has been enjoying hunting vicious yarn strands that Husband attacks her with. She is pretty healthy, for an older cat, and can get downright feisty, if she wants to!

8. Husband put some soil in my mini beds, so, I plan to get them prepared and put seeds in, Botanical Interests seeds are what I am using, to attract pollenators. That's the plan, anyway...  :)

9. Family has been doing pretty well, so I am immensely happy about that.

10. Still putting along on some mindless knitting, if I can convince the powers that be to be able to put a photo on here, I will put some on a future blog.

So, have a terrific week, blog friends!

I’m always happy to see your thankful list. Husband Saves Supper! Nice headline, that.

Maybe I have to search for an alternative to my induction stove which runs on electricity. I don't have any gas stove.

Btw, if you have time to type reflections, this week's TToT is open at https://artmater.com/photos-of-my-avatars-thanks-on-oct-22-2026/

Thank you.
