G. Gobblers and garden (eventually).

We thought the neighbors had run off the turkeys (again...), but I had heard them for the last few days.  Husband had said he'd seen them, but I hadn't had the chance this season... Until this afternoon...

And the tomatoes I have grown are doing pretty well... If looking lazy.  They don't have enough light, I suspect, but they seem healthy, and since these are (for this area) waaaay long season tomatoes, I have to give them all the help I can.  The kohlrabi is doing pretty good, too, I suppose, but it always looks spindly to me, even when it has the big bulb thing on it. Guess it's just a new crop for me, and I am still not used to how it looks.

So, I am still holding out hope that we will be able to plant these in soil, and I won't have to learn hydroponics...
