Anywho, this is the WIPs I have actually had OUT and looked at. The white is a pair of Mukluks, I need to finish the toe on the one, and felt them. Then I want to decorate them with some sort of embroidery. If they work out well, and are comfortable, I might make a second pair. (Now if I can just remember what I did with the leather soles... Urk.)
The brightly colored bit is a Tabi (mitten) sock. Blessings to YouTube, I don't seem to 'get' the Kitchener stitch, and it wouldn't matter, except that this particular sock will have the toe(s) showing, so I really don't want a nice sock with a crappy lookin' toe. (And I won't wear them in the chicken yard, so hopefully there will be little of the OTHER crap, either.) So, I checked, and lo and behold, they have videos on how to do that stitch! Hooray for me!
The last might be Tinked (non-knitters, that is backwards knitting, you are Tinking, taking out the stitches), it is a baby blanket, but the pattern I was making up tends to want to rib and pull in on itself, making a really scrunched up looking thing. So, that might go on the 'start over' pile.
So, there is my Wednesday WIPs. Now I need to get my tookus going and work on a Press Release for CERT. Nothing like working on the fly. (And needing to learn how to write a Press Release is beside the point, right?)
