The Universe is just screwing with me...

Okay, I have been working on making my eating habits better.  One biggie, REALLY big biggie, was that I gave up chocolate.  Long story short, I was having a reaction to the meds the doctor put me on, and so I am trying to eliminate things that make me break out.  Chocolate is a HUMONGOUS one.

It isn't too bad, most of the time.  I have baked with chocolate, (I don't seem to have a problem with this, I guess because I am not supposed to eat when I cook?) and Husband has eaten same around me.  As long as I don't get a big whiff of it, I do fine.  But I still like the stuff, and sometimes the temptation... Urk!

Husband and I donated blood Monday, and it was a normal one, with the exception that they were working on a new system.  They had a few minor hiccoughs, but nothing outrageous, and Husband and I finished nearly the same time.  We went over to the snack table, sat down, and started perusing said snacks.

That's when the lovely coordinator brought over BIG CHOCOLATE BARS.  Like, twice the size of a normal bar, with a big "You are AMAZING" written on the wrapper. 

With a rather dejected sniff, I handed my bar to Husband.  I then had trail mix.  Now, trail mix is good, but it isn't a chocolate bar.

But it went okay.  So, this morning, I saw he'd eaten nearly half of one.  Great!  That means it won't be around to bug me so long.

Then I came into work, and sitting on the desk?

Chocolate covered cherries.
